1. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with the new German Ambassador to Turkmenistan Bernd Heinze. During the meeting, it was emphasized that Germany is one of the important partners of Turkmenistan in Europe. Effective cooperation has been established between the countries in all areas, especially in political-diplomatic, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian ones.

3. The possibilities of further promoting the implementation of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India transnational gas pipeline project were discussed at the meeting by the foreign ministers of Turkmenistan and Pakistan. It was noted that the implementation of this large-scale project is designed to promote sustainable socio-economic development in Asia.
4. The melon and watermelon harvest season is underway in Turkmenistan. In the Ahal velayat of the country, 11 thousand tons of melons have already been collected. Melon is the calling card of Turkmenistan. In the world melon growing there are more than 1600 varieties, about 400 of them are Turkmen. The melons collected during the season are used for the domestic market and for export to the CIS countries, including Russia.
5. The second stage of the 8th “Belt and Road” Camp for teenagers and a training seminar for teachers will be held in the Chinese city of Kunming. The event, organized by the Science Foundation of the Economic Cooperation Organization, will bring together about 300 participants from 38 countries. Turkmenistan will be represented by five students and two teachers from Ashgabat, Arkadag and other regions of the country. Delegates will take part in cultural events, educational seminars and discussions aimed at strengthening international ties and stimulating interest in science and innovation.
