1. National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov had a telephone conversation with the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty congratulated Shavkat Mirziyoyev on his birthday, noting the successes of Uzbekistan in socio-economic development under his leadership.

2. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a Resolution, approving the composition of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Kyrgyz Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical and Humanitarian Cooperation on the Turkmen side.

3. During his visit to Islamabad, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov met with President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari. During the conversation, a wide range of issues related to interaction in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres were discussed.

4. The Georgian airline Georgian Airways opened cargo flights on the route Tbilisi - Meilan - Turkmenabat - Tbilisi. This step is aimed at strengthening trade and economic cooperation between Turkmenistan and Georgia. The route complements the existing cargo air service, which has been operated by another Georgian airline, Geosky Georgian International Airlines, since October 2023. Their flights operate on the route Tbilisi – Zhengzhou – Turkmenabat – Zaragoza – Tbilisi.

5. On October 10-12, the International Exhibition and Scientific Conference “Healthcare, Education and Sports in the Renaissance Era of a New Era of a Powerful State” will be held in Ashgabat. The event is dedicated to the Day of Healthcare and Medical Industry Workers of Turkmenistan. Representatives of the medical industry from different countries, manufacturers of pharmaceuticals and medical equipment, as well as companies providing medical services will take part in the exhibition.

6. Telegram continues to confidently increase its audience. The number of monthly active users of the messenger has reached 950 million. Since the spring of 2024, the number of users has already increased by 50 million. Launched in 2013, Telegram overtook WhatsApp in terms of user traffic for the first time in 2022. Telegram's rapid growth confirms its status as one of the leading instant messengers in the world, successfully competing with other popular messaging platforms.

7. Mattel, creator of the iconic Barbie doll, continues to push the boundaries of inclusivity in the world of toys. She recently introduced two new models: the first blind Barbie in the brand's history and a dark-skinned Barbie with Down syndrome. Developed in collaboration with the American Foundation for the blind, blind Barbie carries a distinctive red and white cane. The doll's clothes have tactile elements for children's comfort, and the packaging contains Braille. Mattel's initiative received support from the Royal National Institute for the Blind, which noted the importance of such dolls for the self-identification of children with special needs.

8. Representatives of Turkmenistan have arrived in Paris, where the Summer Olympic Games will soon begin. The delegation included 19 people, including 6 athletes who will perform in four sports - judo, weightlifting, swimming and athletics. The opening ceremony of the Games is scheduled for July 26. At the Paris Olympics, 329 sets of medals will be competed in 32 sports.

9. Freestyle wrestler from Turkmenistan Alp Arslan Begenjov won the gold medal at the Asian Championships among athletes under 20 years old in Thailand. The Turkmen wrestler achieved this success in the weight category up to 79 kg. In the final fight, Alp Arslan prevailed over the representative of Iran, Majid Khairabad.
