The first pair of semi-finalists have been determined at the European Football Championship in Germany. The teams of France and Spain will compete for a ticket to the final.
The French beat the Portuguese team in a penalty shootout with a score of 5:3 after a goalless draw in regular and extra time. The Spaniards defeated the hosts of the tournament, the German national team, with a score of 2:1 in extra time. Dani Olmo (51st minute) and Mikel Merino (119) scored for the winners, while Florian Wirtz (89) scored for the losers.
The semi-final match will be held on July 9 in Munich and will begin at 23:45 Ashgabat time. Due to disqualification, defenders Dani Carvajal and Robin Le Normand, as well as striker Alvaro Morata, will not be able to play in the Spanish national team. Midfielder Pedri will miss the match due to injury.
