During a business mission to Turkmenistan, organized in June on behalf of the Governor of the Ulyanovsk region Alexey Russkikh, Ulyanovsk entrepreneurs concluded four new contracts.

The contracts concern the supply of components for trucks to Turkmenistan worth more than 10 million rubles, reports ulyanovsk-news.net.

The business mission was attended by such Russian manufacturers as: “Ulgran” and “San Marco”, “Federal Mogul”, “Interwood”, “Biofa” and “Novospassky Elevator”.

At the site of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, the delegation from Ulyanovsk held a series of business meetings, and negotiations on supplies were also held with the ministries of agriculture, construction and architecture, logistics companies, distributors of food products and building materials of a foreign country.

Manufacturer of stone sinks “Ulgran” discussed the possibility of building a joint production.

The Turkmen company Şaýlan, which has more than 6 thousand retail outlets throughout the country, is interested in purchasing confectionery products, sunflower seeds, snacks, and canned products in the Ulyanovsk region.

The head of the “Novospassky Elevator” company, Mikhail Murzakov, shared that the business mission was productive for them: they held negotiations on the supply of flour and grain, and also discussed issues of cooperation with the Turkmen transport and logistics center, namely the storage and delivery of goods, an introductory visit to the port Turkmenbashy. The company's products have aroused interest among large buyers and distributors, and therefore issues regarding the organization of product supplies are being worked out, the source notes.

Let us remind that we previously reported that within the framework of the Ulyanovsk business mission, issues of opening a dealership center for goods from the Ulyanovsk region in Turkmenistan were discussed.
