Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov met with UAE Minister of Economy Abdullah bin Touq Al-Marri.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the parties discussed prospects for deepening cooperation. Proposals were made to increase trade turnover and expand economic partnerships.
The meeting participants confirmed their intention to intensify bilateral cooperation in the trade and economic sphere. Particular attention is paid to the development of cooperation in the oil and gas and chemical industries, energy, transport and the financial and banking sector.
The parties also emphasized the importance of visits at the highest and high levels for the development of the Turkmen-Emirati partnership.
