The Azerbaijani company AZCHEMCO is ready to establish the production of liquid fertilizers and agrochemicals using its own technology in Turkmenistan. This was stated by the vice-chairman of the AZCHEMCO holding, Rifat Sultan-zade, speaking at the International Scientific and Practical Conference TESC-2024 in Ashgabat.
AZCHEMCO has its own technologies for the production of liquid and complex water-soluble fertilizers, as well as agrochemicals. The company is a co-author of the Azerbaijani standard “Fertilizers – Liquid”, which implies the absence of nitrates in fertilizers and, accordingly, no nitrate trace in grown products.
“Thanks to our technology, together with Turkmen partners, we are able to establish the production of liquid fertilizers in Turkmenistan,” noted Rifat Sultan-zade. “By investing in new production, the company plans to produce liquid nitrogen- and sulfur-containing fertilizers based on Turkmen urea, sulfuric acid and sulfur for sale in the region.”
Considering the large volumes of natural gas production in Turkmenistan, AZCHEMCO is ready to provide technology for processing by-product sulfur into raw materials for the production of a line of liquid agrochemicals.
Rifat Sultan-zade also presented ideas for establishing research cooperation between Azerbaijani and Turkmen enterprises and institutions in attracting investments to solve the problems of climate change.
“AZCHEMCO is ready to cooperate with institutions of Turkmenistan to develop new initiatives within the framework of climate finance. Our company has launched a project to create a climate fund “A3 Climate Fund”, which will help attract investments to solve global climate problems,” added the vice-chairman.
