The implementation of the “Ashgabat-City” megaproject became one of the key topics at a working meeting with the participation of delegations of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Korea during the state visit of President Yoon Suk-Yeol to Ashgabat.
At the meeting with the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the prospects for expanding cooperation between the two countries in various fields, including urban planning, were discussed. As noted, Korean business circles are showing great interest in participating in large-scale construction projects in Turkmenistan.
“As it is known, last year the first stage of construction of the “smart” city of Arkadag was completed in Turkmenistan, and in the near future it is planned to begin the implementation of another mega-project – “Ashgabat-City”. All this creates the prerequisites for establishing close, mutually beneficial business contacts”, - comments the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
It is worth noting that the construction of the “Ashgabat-City” residential complex is an ambitious project that marks a new milestone in the development of the capital of Turkmenistan and is designed to make Ashgabat one of the most beautiful and comfortable cities in the world.
The “Ashgabat-City” mega-complex with a total area of 744 hectares will be a real “city within a city” with developed infrastructure and all amenities for living.
