In Kyiv, at the Magtymguly Library on June 10, a summing up of the results of the creative event among young artists and the opening of an exhibition based on the works of the outstanding Turkmen poet-thinker of the 18th century Magtymguly Fragi, entitled “Melodies of the Turkmen Land,” was organized. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports this.
The event, organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Ukraine together with the Magtymguly Library, was attended by members of the creative circle “Mistetstvoznavtsi” (“Art historians”) of the Center for Extracurricular Activities of the Svyatoshinsky District of Kyiv.
During the event, children aged 6 to 15 years, captivated by the historical and autobiographical pages of Magtymguly Fragi’s work, depicted poems by the Turkmen poet in their drawings.
The participants were awarded certificates of honor from the Embassy of Turkmenistan. In addition, an excursion to the Magtymguly room-museum was organized for young artists.
