Eight new residential buildings were put into operation in the northern region of Turkmenistan, a new application for paying traffic fines was launched in Turkmenistan, the international scientific conference TESC 2024 started in Ashgabat and other news

1. A solemn ceremony of commissioning a new high-voltage power transmission line “Balkan-Dashoguz” and two power substations with a voltage of 500 kV each took place in Dashoguz velayat. The President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in the celebrations.

2. A ceremony was held in Dashoguz to commission eight new four-story residential buildings. The happy new residents were given the keys to apartments with an improved layout, which provide all modern amenities for residents. Four new 4-story buildings, designed for a total of 80 apartments, were built at the intersection of S. Turkmenbashy avenue and Alp Arslan street. By order of the hyakimlik of the city of Dashoguz, they were erected by specialists from the Derkar Economic Society. The spacious apartments have loggias and appropriate utility rooms. The ground floors of one of the houses are reserved for shops, which creates additional convenience for residents.

3. A new mobile application for paying fines for violating traffic rules, called Galkan, has been launched in Turkmenistan. The application was developed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

4. The International Scientific Conference “Energy Prospects, New Technologies and Environmental Aspects of the Development of Hydrocarbon Resources” began its work in Ashgabat. The purpose of the international forum is to attract public attention to issues related to environmental issues and sustainable development. The main focus of the forum participants will be on reducing environmental emissions during hydrocarbon development and the energy transition. More than 250 scientists, researchers and experts from 31 countries registered to participate in the conference.

5. On June 5, the hero of Turkmenistan and Russia, cosmonaut Oleg Kononenko set a new record in the history of manned astronautics for the total time spent in orbital flights: 1000 days in space. Currently, Kononenko is on the International Space Station - this is his fifth flight into space.

6. Two Dialog+ hemodialysis machines (artificial kidney) from the German company B.Braun, purchased with funds from the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care, were donated to the Maternal and Child Health Center of Dashoguz velayat.

7. The fourth edition of the Red Book of Turkmenistan has been published. On this occasion, the President of the country Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated environmental workers, the creators of the book and all compatriots. “The main goals of the state environmental policy are to ensure a favorable environment for the people of Turkmenistan to live, rational use of natural resources, enrichment of flora and fauna, careful preservation of beautiful nature for future generations”, - the message notes.

At the pre-match press conference, Orazov noted the warm welcome from the Uzbek Football Association and announced the careful preparation of his players. – In past games we showed that we can force a fight on Uzbekistan. The opponent has a strong squad, but we will try to play in an organized manner in defense and look for chances in attack”, - the coach said. The match between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan will be held today at 19:30 in Tashkent. The home team will take to the field in white uniforms, and the guests will wear green uniforms.
