A scientific and practical conference on the occasion of World Environment Day will be held in Ashgabat on June 5. Deputy Prime Minister T. Atahalliyev reported on this at the Government meeting held on May 31.
The upcoming forum entitled “Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Environmental Well-being” provides for the participation of leaders and specialists of the agro-industrial complex and relevant structures, representatives of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, international and regional organizations accredited in the country, public organizations, as well as scientists, teachers and students of higher educational institutions. Foreign participants will also connect via digital communication.
After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov ordered to ensure that the scientific and practical conference on the occasion of World Environment Day “Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Environmental Well-Being” is held at a high level, TDH reports.
