On May 17, on the opening day of the cultural and park complex “Magtymguly Fragi” and the monument to the great Turkmen poet, Ashgabat residents and guests of the capital will see a grand light show of drones and festive fireworks. The event will include a display of literary and artistic compositions, performances by theater artists, cultural figures and masters of the country's arts, as well as laying flowers at the monument.
Deputy Prime Minister M. Mammedova reported about this at a Government meeting on Friday.
It is expected that the opening ceremony will be attended by numerous foreign guests: participants of the International Conference at the level of Ministers of Culture dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of Magtymguly
Fragi, the International Scientific Forum “The Fount of Wisdom of Magtymguly Fragi”, representatives of the National Commissions for UNESCO of the TURKSOY member states, as well as heads and employees of diplomatic missions accredited in our country.
In this regard, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to carry out appropriate work in order to organize the upcoming celebration and international forums at a high level, reports the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
