The Borussia football club from the German Dortmund defeated the French Paris Saint-Germain with a score of 1:0 in the second semi-final match of the Champions League and reached the final of the tournament. The meeting took place at the Parc des Princes stadium in Paris.
The only goal was scored in the 50th minute by defender Mats Hummels. In the first match in Dortmund, Borussia also defeated PSG with a minimal score of 1:0.
In the decisive match, Dortmund will play with the winner of the confrontation between Bayern Munich and Real Madrid. The first semi-final between these teams ended in a 2:2 draw. The return match will take place on May 8 in Madrid.
Borussia will appear in the final of the main European club tournament for the third time. In 1997 they beat Juventus 3:1, and in 2013 they lost to Bayern 1:2. PSG played in the final for the only time in 2020, losing 0:1 to Munich.
The final match of the Champions League will take place on June 1 at London's Wembley Stadium. The current winner of the tournament is Manchester City, which beat Inter Milan (1:0) in last year's final.
