1. On the hospitable Turkmen soil, a meeting took place between the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation Rustam Minnikhanov, who arrived to participate in the celebrations on the occasion of the National Day of the Turkmen Horse. The interlocutors discussed the further deepening of Turkmen-Tatarstan relations, based on centuries-old historical ties, similarities in culture, language, traditions and customs.

The hyakimlik and the State Committee for the Construction of the City of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan announced the start of repair and construction work on the section between the Polatly and Akhan monuments along Geokdepe shayoly, as well as along the Ashgabat-Geokdepe highway. In connection with the work, starting from April 29, vehicle traffic in these areas will be limited until repairs and reconstruction are completed. Road reconstruction is aimed at creating more convenient conditions for passengers.
3. A scientific and creative work competition “Young Innovators” has been announced in Turkmenistan among students in grades 10-11. Works for the competition are accepted in 5 thematic areas: chemistry, ecology; physics, energy; biology, agriculture, healthcare and healthy lifestyle; information technology, mathematics; technology and technical creativity. The city stage of the competition will take place on May 6, the regional stage on May 20 and the final round on June 10.
5. Delegates of the International Scientific and Practical Conference visited the Amul site in the city of Turkmenabat. The open-air monument is located in the southern part of the city, 619 meters from the Turkmenabat-Kerki highway. Amul was one of the largest centers of international trade. The settlement was a vast square adobe fortress, surrounded by a wide moat with water. Today, the remains of the fortress have been preserved, which constitute a valuable historical monument.

A student of the honored coach of Turkmenistan, Guljahan Ovlyakuliyeva, demonstrated a brilliant game, scoring 7,5 points out of 11 possible in the girls category under 10 years old.
