The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov laid a wreath at the foot of the monument to the Founder of the first Tajik state - Shah Ismoili Somoni.
The high-ranking guest was accompanied at the ceremony by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Kohir Rasulzoda and other officials, NIAT “Khovar” reports.
Let us remind that this morning the National Leader of the Turkmen people arrived on a two-day official visit to Tajikistan.
Within the framework of this trip, Turkmen-Tajik meetings and negotiations at a high state level are envisaged. Turkmenistan and Tajikistan will consider a wide range of bilateral cooperation. After the meeting and high-level negotiations, a number of new documents on bilateral cooperation are expected to be signed.
