At a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov approved the proposal of Deputy Prime Minister Batyr Amanov to provide the State Concern “Turkmennebit” with the necessary products, including pipes, used in drilling, development and overhaul of oil and gas wells, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
The head of state emphasized that increasing oil production in the country is one of the important tasks, instructing the Deputy Prime Minister to carry out relevant work.
As noted, Turkmenistan is implementing a comprehensive strategy to diversify the fuel and energy sector, modernize its infrastructure and introduce innovative technologies. In this direction, practical steps are being taken to strengthen the material and technical base of Turkmennebit and increase the efficiency of work planned for the current year.
