A new modern administrative building of the national postal company “Turkmenpost” will be built in Ashgabat. According to the project documentation, the new facility will include five floors with technical and server rooms, operator offices, a large customer service hall and a conference room equipped with advanced communication systems.
Information about this was announced by the Director General of the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Mammethan Chakyev, during a regular meeting of the Government, TDH reports.
On the adjacent territory of 2.24 hectares it is planned to place auxiliary buildings, a sports ground, water tanks and a parking lot. The implementation of this project will create opportunities for the introduction of digital systems and advanced technologies in the provision of postal services to the population.
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of strengthening the material and technical base of the domestic transport and communications complex. The construction of a new administrative building of Turkmen Post will significantly improve the quality and optimize postal services in the country, the head of state noted.
