Russian voters in Turkmenistan gave 95.82% of votes for Vladimir Putin

Russian citizens in Turkmenistan voted on March 17 in the Russian presidential elections, giving 95.82 percent of the votes for Vladimir Putin. This was reported by sng.today with reference to data from the Russian Central Election Commission.

There were five polling stations in Turkmenistan, which were visited by 2,751 Russian citizens, 2,636 of whom voted for Putin.

According to the voting results in Turkmenistan, Nikolai Kharitonov was in second place. 41 people (1.49 percent) voted for him. Vladislav Davankov received 32 votes (1.16 percent). 20 people (0.73 percent) voted for Leonid Slutsky.

Young Russian citizens who voted for the first time were given memorable gifts.

Russian Ambassador to Turkmenistan Ivan Volynkin noted during the elections:

“We express our deep gratitude and appreciation to the authorities of Turkmenistan, who helped us organize these elections in the regions of the country, they provided premises, everything there is also proceeding as usual, without any deviations from the norms. Once again I want to say, thank you very much to the central authorities in Ashgabat and the authorities in the regions!” notes the source.
