A court has ruled that Brad Pitt must take control of the Chateau Miraval winery, which he previously shared with ex-wife Angelina Jolie. Peopletalk.ru reports this with reference to the Daily Mail.
Pitt convinced the jury that he should be the majority owner of the winery. The key argument was that Jolie sold her share to Russian businessman Yuri Shefler.
According to court documents, Pitt won one of his lawsuits against Jolie, accusing her of unfair business practices.
Before marriage, the couple jointly owned Chateau Miraval: 60% of the shares belonged to Pitt, 40% to Jolie. In 2014, after their wedding at the estate, Pitt gave Jolie a 10% stake, equalizing their shares.
After the divorce in 2022, the actor challenged Jolie's sale of a 10% stake to Scheffler, calling it invalid.
