The “Resettlement of Compatriots” section on the website of the Russian Embassy in Turkmenistan has been updated, reports the embassy’s Telegram channel. The information is now presented in a more convenient format – in the form of three blocks:
General information: contact details, work schedule, reception procedure at the representative office.
State program for the resettlement of compatriots: detailed information about the program, conditions of participation and the procedure for processing documents.
Resettlement to Russia under the bilateral Agreement between Russia and Turkmenistan: information about the agreement, conditions and requirements, as well as the procedure for processing documents.
Simplified reception of repatriates
From July 1, 2024, repatriates can contact the Representative Office of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Turkmenistan without an appointment on Fridays from 9:00 to 12:00. An application for an interview for knowledge of the Russian language must be filled out in advance according to the sample.

Separate slots have been introduced in the electronic queue system for interviews on knowledge of the Russian language and for submitting an application for participation in the State Program.
Consultations on participation in the State Resettlement Program are held daily on weekdays from 12:00 to 13:00 without an appointment.
The representative office of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Turkmenistan reminds that it does not cooperate with commercial organizations. All services of the Representative Office are provided free of charge, without charging state duties or other payments.
