A delegation of youth representatives from Turkmenistan is participating in an extensive cultural program taking place in India.
The goal of the cultural program is to support and strengthen dialogue between the youth of Asian regions. About 100 young people from Central Asian countries are taking part in the forum, reports the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.
Participants get acquainted with the culture, history and national characteristics of India. The initiative to organize such events was approved in 2022 at the Summit of the Heads of State of Central Asia and India.
Young people have already visited one of the most famous monuments in India - the Taj Mahal mausoleum in the city of Agra. The monument is considered the best example of Mughal architecture and is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
The participants also visited the National University of Forensic Sciences, located in Ahmedabad, the largest city in the large state of Gujarat. It is the first university in India dedicated exclusively to forensic medicine and investigative sciences. A meeting was held at the university with representatives of the university.
The cultural program will last until March 12, the source notes.
