The State Concern Turkmennebit is intensifying work on deep well exploration and production of hydrocarbon resources in order to increase hydrocarbon production volumes in the country. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov reported on this at a government meeting, TDH reports.
The structures of the fuel and energy complex are implementing comprehensive measures for the search and production of oil and natural gas. In particular, the state concern “Turkmennebit”, using best international practices, conducts exploration of productive formations in deep wells that differ from traditional ones.
To increase the productivity of wells and drill new deep wells in oil and gas fields, conditions are being created to equip them with modern specialized equipment and technical installations.
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the need for regular modernization of the material and technical base of the State Concern Turkmennebit to increase the production of black gold. He instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to continue providing the industry with new equipment that allows work to be carried out in ultra-deep (over 7 000 meters) wells in oil and gas fields.
