A delegation of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) visited the Turkmenbashy international seaport on Tuesday to familiarize itself with the capabilities and services of the port.
A presentation was made for the guests about the equipment, technical equipment, services and tariffs of the Turkmenbashy port. Japanese representatives on site familiarized themselves with each terminal separately.
The guests were told about the advantages of the customs storage regime for transit cargo. This service permits you to store various cargo and goods at the port without paying customs duties and clearance for up to 3 years, according to the website of the “Turkmendenizderyayollary” Agency.
The non-profit organization JICA cooperates with more than 160 countries and provides assistance in various fields such as education, health, agriculture, transport, infrastructure and others. The organization also contributes to the development of human resources and the strengthening of democratic institutions in partner countries.
