A delegation from Turkmenistan consisting of university teachers, students, schoolchildren and specialists from digital services departments are participating in the World Youth Festival 2024, which takes place in Sochi (Russian Federation). In total, the Turkmen delegation consists of 17 people.
The grand opening of the festival took place on February 29 at the “Bolshoy” stadium of the federal territory of Sirius, reports the MIC.
More than 20 thousand young leaders in the fields of education, science, culture, international cooperation, and volunteerism from more than 180 countries take part in the festival.
The main program of the event will last from March 1 to March 7. Participants will enjoy master classes, competitions, meetings with movie stars, auto racing, gastronomic shows, excursions and exhibitions.
Participants will begin their day with morning exercises with sports legends; they will also have the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in sports life, namely, pass standards, perform sports tasks of varying difficulty levels, and even set their own personal record.
Basketball competitions will be held on all days, in which both men's and women's teams will take part. Cycling demonstrations will be held daily.
In the technology park you will be able to communicate with artificial intelligence, as well as visit the international mall “Art.Youth”, where a fair of young art will be held.
From March 10 to 17, festival participants will travel to 30 Russian cities, where they will be able to visit large industrial, technological, scientific and educational centers, universities and enterprises, visit tourist spots and get acquainted with historical sights.
