Honored Artist of Turkmenistan Rovshen Nepesov held a lecture-concert on the musical work “Paradoxes of Time” by composer Igor Pinhasov at the Turkmen National Conservatory.

Igor Pinhasov is from Ashgabat. From 1988 to 1996 he taught at the Turkmen National Conservatory.

Rovshan Nepesov noted that he first heard “Paradoxes of Time” last year at the international festival of chamber and symphonic music “Golden Autumn” in Tashkent.

As the maestro emphasized, it is difficult to surprise a composer with music. “But Paradoxes of Time literally captivated me. It was written by Igor Pinhasov for chamber orchestra, oboe, piano and theremin. The latter instrument gave the melody mysticism, mystery and mystery. Thanks to the electric musical instrument, the impression of ultra-modern music, the music of the future was created,” he added.

During the lecture, Igor himself greeted the audience via video:

“Hello, fellow countrymen! I am very pleased that there is increased interest in one of my latest works. According to the concept of the work, I am traveling through a time tunnel – my soul wanders through the nooks and crannies of the Universe. And the theremin with its electric sound enriches the palette of sounds.”

Those present watched a video of a chamber orchestra performing “Paradoxes of Time” in the hall of the National Conservatory of Uzbekistan.

After the applause died down, discussions took place, reports the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.
