In March-April, Ashgabat will host the final competitions of the XIII Spartakiad “Turkmenistan – a country of spirituality and health” among teams of ministries and departments, reports the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.
The organizers of the sports event are the State Committee for Physical Culture and Sports, the Democratic Party, the National Center of Trade Unions and the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization.
The program includes competitions in 8 types: volleyball, basketball, swimming, athletics, table tennis, goresh, chess. The winners will be awarded on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov with valuable gifts, medals and cups.
