Director of the “Vitebsk” football club Nikolai Vaityukhovsky, at the request of a Turkmenportal correspondent, commented on the signing of Turkmenistan national team defender Vepa Jumayev.
According to Vaityukhovsky, this acquisition is designed to strengthen the team’s defensive formations after Kostomarov’s departure. The head coach is well acquainted with Jumayev’s game and his style, which should make it easier for the player to adapt to the new club.

23 years old defender Vepa Jumayev has played for “Energetik-BGU” Minsk since March 2023. Last season, the footballer played 28 matches in the Belarusian Major League, scoring 2 goals and one assist.
