1. The swiftness shown by the leadership of fraternal Turkmenistan, as well as the efficiency of “Turkmengas” specialists, railway workers and other services, played a very important role in resolving the emergency situation at the main thermal power plant in Bishkek. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan Azizbek Madmarov stated this during a briefing in Ashgabat.
-I would like to take this opportunity, on my own behalf and on behalf of the Kyrgyz citizens who find themselves in such difficult conditions, to thank the respected President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for the fraternal support and assistance provided to our population in difficult times. The humanitarian cargo was delivered to Bishkek very quickly and, most importantly, on time. Turkmenistan's assistance was one of the first to arrive in our country. It is already in place and is being used for its intended purpose. Such support is all the more valuable because it is provided on time, exactly when needed, Madmarov emphasized.
2. The delegation of the “Turkmensvyaz” Agency takes an active part in the international forum Cisco Live 2024, held in the Netherlands, which is annually held by one of the world's largest IT companies Cisco Systems to exchange experience and develop cooperation in the field of information technology, digitalization and cybersecurity. Turkmen specialists attend seminars and trainings on modern technologies, and also meet with international experts for consultations and exchange of experience.
3. The Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan announced a drawing competition among the country's schoolchildren on the theme “Culture of the World through the Eyes of Youth”. The competition is held on the occasion of the Day of Diplomatic Workers of Turkmenistan, which is celebrated annually on February 18. Schoolchildren from grades 1 to 11 are invited to participate. According to the terms of the competition, drawings in A3/A4 format on the specified topic must be sent to the university before February 15.
4. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov met with the Secretary General of the International Organization TURKSOY Sultanbay Raev. The parties discussed a large-scale program of joint events both in Turkmenistan and in other TURKSOY member countries. In addition, it is planned to popularize the creativity of Magtymguly Fragi and the cultural significance of the ancient city of Anau on various international platforms.

5. 2023 has been a phenomenally successful year for Türkiye’s tourism industry. The country, one of the leaders in world tourism, received 56,7 million foreign visitors, which is 10% more than in 2022. In addition to beach holidays, Türkiye has established itself as a popular destination for cultural tourism, art tourism, food tours, cycling routes and pilgrimages. 8. The first victory at the Central Asian Football Association (CAFA) championship among women held in Tajikistan was won by futsal players of the Turkmenistan women's team. In the third round, they won with a score of 4:1 over their rivals from Tajikistan. The best player of the match was the captain of the Turkmenistan national team, Maria Charyeva, who scored a double.
9. The Qatar national team defeated the Iranian team with a score of 3:2 in the semi-finals of the Asian Cup. In the final, which will take place on February 10, Qatar will play against the Jordan team.
