A children's football festival called Grassroots was held in the capital of Turkmenistan. It was organized by the State Committee for Physical Culture and Sports together with the Football Federation and FC Altyn Asyr.
About 100 children aged 10-12 years took part in the festival. The event took place in the format of game training, including the basic technical elements of football. Several stations were organized on the field, where the guys practiced shots on goal, took part in competitions and performed various exercises. The children enthusiastically participated in all the proposed competitions and relay races.
The purpose of the festival was to increase the popularity of football in Turkmenistan. At the end of the event, the young football players received memorable gifts.
