A round table on health care development issues was held at the Center for Maternal and Child Health in the city of Arkadag.
According to the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”, the event was attended by representatives of the Information Center of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan, the Center for Maternal and Child Health of the city of Arkadag and the Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan.
The meeting participants discussed the achievements and prospects for the development of the domestic healthcare system. Particular attention was paid to the ongoing comprehensive work to protect maternal and child health, and to the healthcare opportunities created in the city of Arkadag.
Let us remind that a Memorandum of Understanding was recently signed between the State Committee for the Construction of the City of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan and the German consulting company Goetzpartners Emerging Markets GmbH for the construction of an international-level medical cluster in Arkadag.
The speakers noted that the creation of a cluster in the “smart” city of Turkmenistan will take the national healthcare system and medical industry to a new level.
The rich base of environmentally friendly medicinal raw materials that Turkmenistan is rich in will make it possible to produce various types of medical products not only for domestic consumption, but also for export, the source notes.
