Director General of the Agency of Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Mammethan Chakyev, reported on plans to train international-level personnel for the country’s civil aviation sector during a government meeting, reports the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
It is proposed to organize training of specialists on the basis of the Aviation Personnel Training School of the Türkmenhowaýollary Agency in the areas of “Training of the State Flight Safety Inspector” and “National Aviation Safety Observer” in accordance with the requirements of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC).
The creation of such opportunities will permit us to improve teaching methods in the educational institution in accordance with international standards and develop cooperation in this area. It is also expected that not only domestic, but also foreign specialists will undergo training in new areas.
After listening to the report, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the need to strengthen partnerships with reputable specialized organizations to train international-level specialists in the country’s civil aviation and ordered to take the necessary measures for this.
