The rector of a Turkmen university visited a research technological university in Kazan

Rector of the Oguzhan Engineering and Technology University Gurbanmyrat Mezilov visited the Kazan National Research Technological University.

The visit was held on May 16 with the participation of the second secretary of the Consulate General of Turkmenistan in Kazan, Ashirali Nazarov, the press service of KNRTU reports. During the visit, a meeting was held with the rector of KNRTU Yuri Kazakov.

The parties discussed issues of international cooperation in the field of higher education. The Turkmen side is interested in academic exchange, joint scientific projects and the development of international programs. Taking this opportunity, Rector G. Mezilov invited Kazan colleagues to take part in the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Important Directions of the “green” Economy: Eco, Nano-, Bio- and Information Technologies”, which will be held in June at Oguzhan University.

On the same day, Gurbanmyrat Mezilov held a meeting with Turkmen students of KNRTU. Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of KNRTU Dilbar Sultanova noted that students from Turkmenistan are distinguished by a special culture: mutual assistance, collectivism, respect for mentors.

Rector Mezilov thanked the leadership of the university for the constant comprehensive support of Turkmen students and care for them, admonishing the students, he emphasized: “You are our future, the chemical industry of the country awaits your knowledge!”

The visit of the rector of the Turkmen university to Kazan was held within the framework of Turkmenistan’s participation in the international forum “Russia - the Islamic World”.
