Ambassador of Turkmenistan Muhametgeldi Ayazov and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Mnatsakan Safaryan discussed current issues on the bilateral agenda, including trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian, transport-logistics and scientific-educational cooperation, as well as the status of existing treaties and agreements, the press reports - foreign policy service.
Ambassador Ayazov informed that the year 2024 in Turkmenistan will be held under the motto “The Fount of the Mind of Magtymguly Fragi” in honor of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great classical poet.
In this regard, the embassy plans to hold a number of cultural and scientific events. In addition, issues of holding the next meeting of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Armenian Commission on Economic Cooperation were discussed at the meeting.
The parties confirmed their interest in further deepening comprehensive ties between Turkmenistan and Armenia.
