The football club “Slavia” from the Belarusian city of Mozyr announced the transfer of the defender of the Turkmenistan national team Vepa Jumayev from the Minsk “Energetika-BGU”. This was reported by the club's press service.
23 years old Jumayev began playing football in his native Ashgabat. At the age of 17, he signed his first professional contract with the “Kopetdag” club from the Major League of Turkmenistan. In 2018 he entered the Gomel State Technical University.
In 2021 he moved to “Lokomotiv” Gomel (D2). In his debut season, he played 33 matches for the club, in which he scored 1 goal and 2 assists.
In March 2023, Vepa became a player at “Energetika-BGU”. Throughout the season, the footballer was a key player for the club, scoring 2 goals and an assist in 28 matches.
