Photojournalist of the Turkmen News Agency Vyacheslav Sargsyan once again received an award at an international competition held under the patronage of the International Federation of Photographic Arts (FIAP), the Global Photo Union (GPU) and the American Photographic Society PSA.
As the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age” reports, recently the three largest photographic societies PST, CAPA and PSTw summed up the results of the competition, and Vyacheslav Sargsyan was awarded the silver prize. In addition, he was awarded a special prize - the FIAP Ribbon of Honor.
The Turkmen photojournalist is a repeated participant and winner of international competitions and photo exhibitions.
The award of this competition acquires special value considering that V. Sargsyan’s photographic work beat out about four and a half thousand photographs submitted to the competition by more than 300 authors.
At various times, V. Sargsyan’s works received special prizes from Russia, Morocco, China, the USA and the Czech Republic.
