An exhibition of fine and applied art dedicated to the year “The Fount of Magtymguly’s Mind” opened in the Exhibition Hall of the Union of Artists of Turkmenistan.
Members of the Union of Artists of Turkmenistan presented their works, including Saparmammet Meredov, Merjen Amanglyjova, Orazgylych Ovezov, Ishanguly Ishangulyev, Tuvak Sahedova, Rustam Abdullayev, Ayjahan Babatajova.
The exhibition also features works by students of the Academy of Arts and Art College. Among them, the works of Nurmyrat Gurdov, Jemal Baymyradov, Kumush Bayramkuliyeva, Bagul Oralova, Allaberdi Atadurdyev deserve attention.
The theme of the artwork reflects the image of the poet Magtymguly Fragi, the era in which he lived, and the historical events of that time. Also among the works are paintings dedicated to Magtymguly’s poems and the individual perception of the poet’s lyrics.
The exhibition will continue until January 19, according to the website of the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan.
