A celebration on the occasion of the proclamation of the motto of 2024 was held at the Historical and Local Lore Museum of Lebap velayat of Turkmenistan

The thematic conference Magtymguly–halkyň öçmez çyragy (“Magtymguly is the unquenchable light of the people”) and the exhibition dedicated to the Year “The Fount of the Mind of Magtymguly Fragi” were held today at the Historical and Local Lore Museum of Lebap velayat, reports Turkmenportal correspondent.

The conference was attended by museum specialists, cultural figures, representatives of the education system, public organizations of the region, the media, and numerous fans of the great poet’s work.

The participants of the celebration were unanimous in the opinion that 2024, marked by anniversary celebrations in honor of the great poet-thinker of the East Magtymguly Fragi, will contribute to further in-depth study of the heritage of the Turkmen classic, expansion of relevant scientific research, attracting the attention of the international scientific and literary community to his poetic and philosophical creativity. At the conference there were speeches about the world of poetry of Magtymguly Fragi and his poems.

Within the framework of the event, the Museum organized a large-scale thematic exhibition, the exhibition of which included numerous museum exhibits telling about the era in which the poet lived and worked, scientific works and books dedicated to the work of the great thinker.
