Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with the representative of the UAE President for affairs with Turkmenistan

The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, during his visit to Abu Dhabi, held a meeting with the representative of the UAE President for Affairs with Turkmenistan Mohamed Said Mohamed Al-Ariki, TDH reports.

Mohamed Said Mohamed Al-Ariki emphasized the sincere interest of the Emirati side in establishing close, mutually beneficial cooperation with Turkmenistan, which deservedly enjoys high prestige in the world.

As noted, the large-scale transformations being carried out in the country, primarily to reform and diversify the national economy, have provided Turkmenistan with consistently high rates of socio-economic growth.

“Our country is always open to constructive interaction with all interested partners - both with foreign countries and individual companies with positive work experience and innovative developments,” emphasized the National Leader of the Turkmen people.

Noting that the established reliable, strong legislative framework and favorable investment climate create all the conditions for the successful operation of foreign businesses in the promising Turkmen market, National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed confidence that during the current visit to the UAE there will be a good opportunity to discuss prospects interaction in a number of areas.

Trade, economic, banking, financial, and fuel and energy sectors were named among the priority vectors of Turkmen-Emirati cooperation.

As is known, having colossal reserves of natural gas, Turkmenistan is actively working to develop giant deposits of “blue fuel” and diversify export routes for the supply of its energy resources to international markets.

At the same time, Turkmenistan pays great attention to the development of “green” energy, taking consistent steps aimed at promoting projects for the widespread use of renewable energy sources.

Another promising vector of cooperation seems to be the transport and communications sector, the development of which Turkmenistan is building taking into account national interests and its advantageous geographical location.

Once again thanking for the opportunity of a personal meeting, Mohamed Said Mohamed Al-Ariki wished the National Leader of the Turkmen people the productivity of the upcoming meetings during the current visit, designed to contribute to the strengthening and further development of Turkmen-Emirate economic cooperation.
