The opening of an exhibition of women artists of Iran and Turkmenistan was held at the Museum of Fine Arts of Turkmenistan. Masters of fine and decorative arts presented their original works, Turkmenportal correspondent reports.

Iranian guests work in different genres and techniques. Thus, Zeinab Shahi originally combines the possibilities of shamaili (calligraphy), painting and the art of gilding in her unique works. Amini Mino's paintings are dedicated to history and culture; portraiture occupies a large place in her work. Roghayeh Setarnejad's miniatures are made using natural paints on leather. The artist claims that 30 years have passed since the creation of her first painting and during these years it has been preserved in its original form.

Turkmen fine arts are represented by teachers of the State Academy of Arts - Guncha Gochmuradova, Shirinjemal Rejepova, Ayjemal Charyeva, Gulara Babayeva. Their works are distinguished by the harmony of colors, an original view of the natural world around them, the original customs of the Turkmen people, as well as fairy-tale plots. It is difficult to take eyes off the Turkmen jewelry presented at the exhibition.

The peculiarity of the exhibition of Turkmen and Iranian artists is that all the exhibits are modern, but the secrets of the best masters, who have honed their skills for centuries, were taken into account in the work on them. Each of these types of fine and applied art is a product of the centuries-old history and culture of neighboring peoples.

The opening ceremony of the Turkmen-Iranian vernissage was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Turkmenistan Ali Mojtaba Ruzbahani, the head of the Union of Artists of Turkmenistan Charymurad Yazmyradov, as well as the director of the Museum of Fine Arts Ismail Orazov.

As noted, cultural diplomacy is one of the most important tools for developing relations of friendship and good neighborliness between Turkmenistan and Iran, whose peoples are committed to preserving their historical and cultural heritage, continuity of traditions, spiritual and moral values.

Musical groups of dutarists and violinists greeted visitors to the exhibition with national melodies.

In the afternoon, Turkmen and Iranian artists held a master class for young colleagues and fans of fine art.

Tomorrow the Museum will host a conference dedicated to the role of contemporary fine art in the life of society, in which representatives of the creative intelligentsia of the two countries will take part.

Meetings at the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan and excursions around Ashgabat were organized for guests.
