During the scientific and practical conference and exhibition dedicated to the year “Happy Youth with Arkadag Serdar” in Ashgabat, on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan, the Arkadag football club was presented with a new club bus of the German brand MAN. This gift was a reward for the team’s successful performance in the 2023 season, writes MIC.
In its debut season, Arkadag won the title of champion of the Higher League and also won the Turkmenistan Cup. In the Cup final, the team defeated Ahal with a score of 3:0.
On the sides of the donated bus are the club’s logo, an image of Akhan’s horse and a silhouette of the Kopetdag Range.
The team representing the city of national importance of the same name was led to this success by 43-year-old head coach Vladimir Bayramov. He is a well-known former striker of the Turkmenistan national team, winner of the 2003/04 Russian Cup with Terek and the 2013 AFC President's Cup with Balkan.
