Variety has published a list of the best horror films of 2023. According to the magazine, the best in this genre was Kyle Edward Ball's debut film Skinamarink, reports gazeta.ru.
The film was shot in the director's childhood home. The film's budget was only 15 000 USD.

Second place on the list was taken by the film “Talk to Me” by brothers Danny and Michael Philippou. This is the story of a girl who tries to contact her dead mother through a supernatural ritual. The result is terrifying.
