As Turkmenportal previously reported, on November 8-9, Uzbekistan will host the XVI Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization, in which the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov will take part.

At the moment, delegations of the countries participating in the Summit have begun to arrive in Tashkent. In anticipation of it, various business meetings are held aimed at developing mutually beneficial cooperation.

On November 9, Uzbekistan will host a top-level meeting of the ECO, in which the heads of the organization’s member countries are expected to attend.

The Economic Cooperation Organization includes ten countries: Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Türkiye and Uzbekistan.
