A delegation from the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, led by Vice-Rector Begench Myatliyev, visited Krygyzstan, where prospects for cooperation in training specialists in the field of international relations were discussed.
Representatives of the IIR of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs held a meeting with the rector of the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Kylychev, reports the press service of the Turkmen foreign ministry.
During the discussion, potential areas of cooperation between the IIR of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the DA of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan were identified, and the common desire to deepen academic and scientific interaction between the two educational institutions was confirmed. Both sides also exchanged ideas on the possibility of organizing joint research projects and events.
On the same day, a “round table” dedicated to the development of Turkmen-Kyrgyz relations was held in the building of the Diplomatic Academy. The event was attended by both teaching staff and students of the DA of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan.
During the speeches, it was noted that political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian ties between Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan are actively developing. The expansion of fruitful ties in the field of science and education was highlighted as a priority area for further interaction.
