A literary competition dedicated to the amulet-alaja has been announced in Turkmenistan

The magazine Diýar (“Fatherland”) announced a creative competition Alaja – el işimiň maýasy, hemmä ýeter saýasy, within the framework of which literary and journalistic texts dedicated to the Alaja amulet will be considered. An announcement about this was published on the pages of the publication.

The competition is aimed at popularizing Turkmen decorative and applied arts. Participants can present their works in different genres that express the love of the Turkmen people for the craft of weaving amulets-alaja.

Works will be accepted in Turkmen language. Along with the essay, the contestants must send personal information - place of work and residence, year of birth, profession, telephone number.

The proposed works will be published in the electronic version of Diýar magazine, and the winners of the competition will be determined by the number of views of each work, as well as the assessment of a competent jury.

Works for the competition will be accepted until November 30. The winners will be announced in the first days of December and will receive valuable prizes and Certificates of Honor from Diýar magazine.
