A tourism festival is planned to be held at the State Museum of Fine Arts in Ashgabat from October 31 to November 2. The event will be organized by the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), the Iranian Embassy in Turkmenistan and the Iranian Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Crafts.
This was reported by Orient with reference to the words of Iranian cultural attaché in Turkmenistan Navid Rasuli. During the festival, Iran will demonstrate its tourism, medical, and cultural products, he noted.
“The event will bring together existing tourism companies from Iran and Turkmenistan to showcase the attractions of both countries based on their common features”, - Rasouli noted. “Tourism companies from both countries will hold B2B meetings during this cultural event and agreements will be reached, which are in preparation and awaiting signing”.
As the cultural attache emphasized, 11 Iranian travel companies have already registered to participate in the festival.
Within the framework of this cultural event, sections dedicated to health and Iranian crafts will be presented. The event will be graced by performances by Iranian musical groups.
The event was planned after the meeting of the presidents of Turkmenistan and Iran in 2022, Rasouli noted.
