On September 29, the “Germany - Central Asia” summit will be held in Berlin, which will be attended by representative delegations from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. Also taking part in the summit will be German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and German Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz, reports the Greater Asia publication.
This is the first summit in the “Germany – Central Asia” format. The parties will discuss strengthening cooperation between the countries of the region and Germany in various fields, including economics, energy, ecology and climate change.
In addition, the leaders of the Central Asian countries will hold bilateral meetings with top officials of Germany.
