The VII International Festival of Puppet Theaters “Chodari Khayol” will be held in Tajikistan from October 24 to 29. Turkmenistan will take part in it for the first time, reports NIAT “Khovar”.
The festival is held with the aim of strengthening cooperation in the field of theatrical puppetry, reviving and developing traditional puppet theater, as well as improving aesthetic education and expanding the worldview of the younger generation.
This year, professional puppet theaters from Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Iran will perform at the festival. The program also includes performances by students of the puppet department of the Turkmen State Institute of Culture.
Spectators will be able to see bright, unusual and spectacular performances for children and adults.
