Independence and statehood, patriotism and humanism are fundamental concepts that underlie the development of any country. National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stated this while speaking at a meeting of the Halk Maslahaty.

“Today, these concepts have become national and universal doctrines that contribute to the rapprochement of peoples and the establishment of friendly relations,” Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized.

According to him, the independence of Turkmenistan is the basis of all the country's achievements, including its economic growth, social stability and international authority.

“Independence gives power for creation, strength for creation, inexhaustible inspiration for strengthening peace and friendship,” said the chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan.
