Speaking today at the Fifth Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov proposed the creation of a Central Asian Chamber of Commerce.
According to the head of state, the most important task is to expand trade and economic relations between the countries of the region and increase the volume of mutual trade turnover.
“I think that extreme specificity and effective measures are required here. In this regard, we propose to consider the issue of creating a Central Asian Chamber of Commerce”, - noted the President of Turkmenistan.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that the meaning and purpose of the new structure is the coordination of joint steps of the countries of the region in the development of trade; ensuring the commercial interests of all potential economic entities of the Central Asian market; attracting investments for the implementation of large regional projects.
The Fifth Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia is attended by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, as well as the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
