Today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held a meeting with representatives of the United Nations Human Settlements Program (UN-HABITAT) Katya Schaefer and Herman Pienaar, who are in Ashgabat on a working visit.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, during the meeting issues of cooperation between Turkmenistan and UN-HABITAT were discussed and specific areas for further interaction were outlined.
The parties agreed to jointly develop a Cooperation Roadmap, paying attention to the possibility of opening a UN-Habitat office in Turkmenistan, the source notes.
