The next national basketball championship among men's and women's teams has started in the capital of Turkmenistan. According to the Basketball Federation of Turkmenistan, six teams take part in the tournament - teams from the velayats of Turkmenistan and Ashgabat.
The championship will be held in a round robin system. The first round was held on September 5. The final of the tournament is scheduled for September 9. According to the results of the competition, the champions of Turkmenistan in basketball among men's and women's teams will be determined.
Competitions are held at the sports ground of the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports.
